We cover the following areas: Brookhouse, Caton, Hornby, Kirkby Lonsdale, Halton, Nether Kellet, Over Kellet, Carnforth, Silverdale, Hest Bank, Slyne, Bolton Le Sands, Morecambe, Dolphinholme, Galgate.
Other areas further afield would be considered but may incur travel costs.
Support Provided
It’s preferable to have a block of two hours support or more. This allows time to get to know you and for sessions to be more meaningful.
We work with adults over 18.
On your initial contact we would arrange to come and meet you to talk through how we can work together to help you live your life as you would like. Following this meeting there is no obligation to use our service and this visit would be free of charge.
Communication
Communication is important. We recognise that some people may not be able to let their family and friends know what they have been doing but having this information is key to people’s well being. Squiggle Support are happy to provide feedback on sessions in a variety of ways if people who we support and their family or friends are happy with. This can include a short email, paperwork left in someones home or over the phone.
Costs
Our hourly rate is charged at £35.00. This includes travel together during sessions within 10 miles of where support commences.
Any driving completed during sessions over 10 miles from where support begins would be charged at 45p per mile.
Insurance
The company is fully ensured and staff are required to have an enhanced disclosing and barring service (DBS) check.
Transport used is insured for business use.
Food hygiene certificate. Any specific training needs to ensure personal support would be sourced and completed.
Paperwork
We don’t have a contract to sign when you choose Squiggle Support, use us as and when or on a long term basis.
Cancellations to sessions you have requested would require 48 hours notice or would incur the charge of the session. This charge would not apply in an emergency situation or unforeseen circumstances.
